An exciting opportunity has become available for a Instrumentation Workshop Supervisor to join our Sydney team. Endress+Hauser Australia is made up of 130 dedicated employees across the country, with our national office located in Artarmon, Sydney, and additional offices in other key locations.

 

What is the role about?

Are you an experienced Instrumentation Workshop Supervisor or in Field Service operations? Are you trade qualified in Instrumentation disciplines? If so, this role is for you!

The Instrumentation Workshop Supervisor assists the Service Manager in the management and daily execution of workshop services. You will also manage the service and technicial support cases to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.

 

Which tasks will you perform?

  • The effective execution of workshop repairs and services for the E+H Service team, including:
  • Provide commissioning, maintenance, fault finding, troubleshooting, repair and calibration services on instrumentation
  • Root cause problem analysis and resolution
  • Provide accurate and legible service reports
  • Management of the service owned technical support cases to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Management of workshop quality standards and proficiency testing to ensure compliance with E+H quality requirements
  • Coordinate with the Service Supervisor for the management of E+H proficiency testing. 
  • WHS – ensure WHS compliance for the workshop, including carrying out JSEA's
  • Develop and maintain a minimum level of knowledge of Endress+Hauser products sold and serviced by Australia
  • Keep up to date with techniques and technologies in the process instrumentation industry
  • Periodically reviewing workshop systems and processes to ensure the workshop runs efficiently and effectively to provide a high level of customer service and satisfaction.

 

What do we expect from you?

  • Trade qualified in Instrumentation
  • Restricted electrical license is required
  • Strong instrumentation experience and skills related to the process industry
  • Experience or exposure to E+H products would be ideal but not required
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate
  • The ability to work within tight deadlines and under pressure
  • High level of computer skills, using all MS office applications
  • Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of WHS legislation and requirements
