Integration Engineer III
Impactimpact.com, the world’s leading commerce partnership marketing platform, is looking for an Integration Engineer III to join its Sydney team on a full-time, onsite basis. The role centers on helping brands configure, implement, and launch partnerships across the customer journey, guiding clients through onboarding and adoption, and delivering hands-on training to help teams get the most from the platform. impact.com serves more than 5,000 global brands and powers over 350,000 partnerships, including names like Walmart, Uber, Shopify, Lenovo, L’Oréal and Fanatics. This would suit someone who combines technical depth with a customer-facing mindset and enjoys turning complex setup into a smooth onboarding experience.
The company is known for unifying affiliates, creators, and customer advocates on a single platform to drive measurable growth. Based in Sydney, the team collaborates with clients across business and tech domains to tailor integration approaches that fit each client’s objectives. If you’re excited by blending engineering problem-solving with hands-on client work, this could be a strong fit.
What This Integration Engineer III Role Involves
You’ll stay current with impact.com’s platform capabilities, product improvements, and industry trends while managing a portfolio of new accounts. This includes launching and onboarding new clients, ensuring onboarding metrics stay accurate, and making sure all relevant stakeholders are involved in discussions to define and confirm setup items. You’ll keep projects moving by surfacing blockers early and triaging them to keep timelines intact, and you’ll support the design and integration of technical solutions for both new and existing clients.
Part of your day-to-day will be leading technical discovery and solution discussions to understand client requirements and propose optimal configurations aligned to their objectives. You’ll contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical integration documentation and troubleshoot issues that arise during onboarding. A key aim is to capture critical client information clearly so transitions to Success or Account Management run smoothly and without friction. You’ll also work closely with internal teams such as Solutions Architects and Client Success to answer questions about the integration process and to share best practices for platform adoption.

Advice for Applicants for the Integration Engineer III Role
Put the core experience you have at the top of your resume, calling out 5+ years in tech-focused roles at a digital marketing or technology company, plus explicit examples of client onboarding and SaaS integration work that used HTML, JavaScript, SQL and REST APIs.
When you describe your must-have skills, back them with concrete outcomes. Show how you’ve applied AI to real-world client scenarios and the impact it had, and illustrate your ability to translate technical details into clear, customer-focused explanations for non-technical stakeholders.
In interviews, be ready to walk through a recent onboarding project from discovery to deployment. Explain how you collaborated with Solutions Architects and other teams, how you kept stakeholders aligned, and how you documented steps to support a smooth handoff to Success or Account Management.
Ask a smart question that ties to the role’s structure and the onboarding process. For example: What does a typical onboarding timeline look like for a new client, and how does the team partner with Solutions Architects during the discovery phase to ensure a successful deployment?
