Endeavour Group is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join us full-time onsite in Bulimba, based in Brisbane or Melbourne. You’ll support pub refresh and refurbishment projects by developing design concepts, scoping documents, finishes schedules and low-documentation tender packages, while sourcing and coordinating premium furniture, finishes, lighting and styling to brand standards. You’ll work with project managers and contractors through procurement, site visits and defect inspections, and help maintain design standards across the portfolio. The ideal candidate has 3 years+ pub design experience, a tertiary interior design qualification, Revit proficiency, and strong stakeholder management, with travel. • Brisbane or Melbourne based

As an Interior Designer, you’ll support the delivery of pub refresh and refurbishment projects by developing design concepts, scoping documentation, finishes schedules, and low-documentation tender packages. 

You’ll be responsible for specifying, sourcing and coordinating furniture, finishes, lighting and styling items in line with the venue design direction, while supporting Project Managers through supplier coordination, tender evaluation and defect inspections. 

You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of portfolio-wide design standards and styling guidelines.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• Develop creative design concepts, mood boards, colour palettes, and tailored furniture packages for venue refreshes.  
• Prepare comprehensive scoping documents, specifications, finishes schedules, and low-documentation tender packages.  
• Specify and source premium furniture, floor/wall finishes, lighting, and styling items that align with brand standards.  
• Conduct venue audits and project scoping visits to uncover refurbishment opportunities and develop smart design solutions.  
• Manage supplier schedules, procurement timelines, and invoicing while coordinating quotations to assist with tender evaluations.  
• Direct and coordinate builders, suppliers, and contractors to ensure delivery aligns with approved scopes and design intent.  
• Attend site meetings and execute defect inspections of completed works to guarantee premium execution.  
• Maintain design standards and styling guidelines while managing budget alignment for cost-conscious design decisions. 

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: 

• 3+ years of experience designing for pubs or similar premises, with a deep understanding of the hospitality sector.  
• Essential pub industry design expertise, bringing a proven track record of successful venue transformations.  
• Tertiary Interior Design qualifications or a degree in a related design discipline.  
• Strong stakeholder management skills. 
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Construction industry white card.
• Some travel may be required.
