WSP is seeking an Intern to support day-to-day IT operations and provide basic technical assistance to end users. This role offers hands-on experience within the IT function, supporting the team in maintaining workplace technology and ensuring smooth delivery of IT services.

The Intern will assist in troubleshooting minor issues, supporting device setup, and completing routine IT tasks under supervision, while developing practical technical and professional skills in a collaborative environment.

  • Provide first-level support to end users, assisting with basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, desktops, and other IT equipment.
  • Assist in installing and updating standard software applications.
  • Help troubleshoot minor system and network issues, escalating where required.
  • Support meeting rooms, video conferencing tools, and collaboration platforms.
  • Assist with IT asset tracking and ensure records are accurately maintained.
  • Log and track incidents and service requests in the IT system.
  • Coordinate with the IT team to resolve user issues in a timely manner.
  • Support routine IT tasks such as equipment checks, replacements, and updates.
  • Provide basic guidance to users on IT tools and systems.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Strong interest in IT support and technology services.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
