Summary

The interns will learn the fundamentals of image processing, machine learning, mouse behavior assays, basic mouse handling, tissue collection, statistics, data management as well as how to design research experiments that are rigorous and reproducible. They will also learn how to present their data and conduct literature searches.

Job Duties

  • Learn machine learning algorithms on rs-fMRI data.
  • Learns how to process rs-fMRI data.
  • Takes online training for animal handling through AALAS.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hardworking and eager to learn.
  • Interested in the biological or computational sciences either by being enrolled in undergraduate with such a focus OR with a specified interest as a high school student.
