Bombardier’s Fall 2026 Intern, Project Engineering and R&T is an eight month, hybrid opportunity onsite in the Administrative Centre, Quebec. You’ll support technical project management in Research and Technology by developing schedules, tracking financial metrics, preparing progress reports for stakeholders, and contributing to risk and change management, flow diagrams and gate reviews. You’ll also gain access to conferences like Meet An Executive and Women Taking Flight, site visits, Bombardier Academy of Learning, and broad networking events. Ideal candidates are engineering students with at least two years completed, a strong interest in project management and innovation, excellent organization and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office and MS Project; Design Thinking is a plus. What are your contributions to the team?

  • Support the project management activities of technical projects in the field of Research and Technology. 
  • Develop, track and update project schedules 
  • Prepare and maintain financial metrics, project planning, and other project-related components 
  • Establish regular monitoring process with project stakeholders 
  • Preparing weekly and monthly presentations covering the progress of the project 
  • Elaborate flow diagrams 
  • Help improve project management processes (risk and opportunity, change management, project improvement and gate reviews) 

How to thrive in this role?

  • You are currently enrolled in a university level engineering program or a field related to aerospace 
  • You have completed at least two years of the program 
  • You have experience and/or have strong interest in Project Management 
  • You have strong interest in innovation and technology development 
  • You have excellent organizational and time-management skills 
  • You are motivated, curious and independent 
  • You express strong abilities to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and can take leadership when required 
  • You have strong communication skills including presentation skills 
  • You are familiar and comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite 
  • You have experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project 
  • Experience with Design Thinking is an asset
