About Adaptive

Adaptive is a cybersecurity startup on a mission to stop AI-powered cyberattacks. In December 2025, the company announced an $81M Series B led by NVIDIA and Bain Capital Ventures, with participation from Capital One Ventures, Citi Ventures, and continued support from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), the OpenAI Startup Fund, and Abstract Ventures. The round marked NVIDIA’s first AI cybersecurity investment.

Adaptive was founded by Brian Long and Andrew Jones, repeat entrepreneurs who have built and scaled category-defining companies. Brian and Andrew previously co-founded Attentive, which grew to more than $500M in annual revenue and a $10B+ valuation, and TapCommerce, which was acquired by Twitter. Together, they bring deep experience building high-growth, product-led businesses at massive scale as Adaptive builds the security layer for the AI era.

Trusted by leading banks, technology companies, and healthcare organizations, Adaptive protects teams from emerging threats like deepfakes, smishing, and AI-powered voice scams. With rapid enterprise adoption and a $200B+ market ahead, the company is just getting started.

The Role

We’re looking for an International Event Marketing Manager to help plan, execute, and optimize Adaptive’s growing global portfolio of events and experiences. This role will drive awareness of Adaptive across international markets, educate customers and prospects on our expanding product offerings, generate high-quality global pipeline for Sales, and foster community within the cybersecurity space worldwide.

You’ll build and own a diverse international portfolio—from global cybersecurity summits and trade shows to executive dinners, partner activations, and regional field events—while managing end-to-end event strategy, operations, and performance across multiple geographies. Reporting to the Director of Event Marketing, you’ll deliver outstanding, culturally relevant experiences that drive brand recognition, international pipeline growth, and customer retention.

This role requires strong cross-border coordination, comfort operating across time zones, and the ability to scale programs globally while maintaining operational excellence. The role will be based in London and serve as the primary events lead for Adaptive’s international markets.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the planning and execution of international industry conferences, third-party sponsorships, field marketing activations, executive roundtables, and partner events across key international markets including the UK, Ireland, Australia, and Singapore, with opportunity to expand into additional regions over time.

  • Own end-to-end global event logistics—from vendor sourcing and contract negotiations to venue selection, international shipping, customs coordination, staffing, localization, and post-event follow-up.

  • Navigate regional compliance requirements, data privacy considerations (e.g., GDPR), and local regulations relevant to events and marketing activities.

  • Align cross-functional teams (Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success, Marketing, and Leadership) around regional event goals, messaging, and audience strategy; ensure seamless collaboration across time zones.

  • Develop and execute localized pre- and post-event marketing strategies to boost attendance, engagement, and global lead nurture outcomes.

  • Partner closely with regional sales leaders to ensure strong field alignment and measurable pipeline impact.

  • Track international event performance using Salesforce and related tools; manage attendee data, lead flow, attribution, and global ROI reporting.

  • Evaluate program success by region and deliver actionable insights to continuously improve international event strategy and investment allocation.

  • Represent Adaptive on the ground at international events, ensuring a high-quality, culturally thoughtful brand experience.

  • Build scalable frameworks and playbooks to support Adaptive’s continued global expansion.

Who You Are

  • A creative and strategic mindset, with 3–5 years of experience in event or field marketing, ideally within cybersecurity or B2B SaaS, including meaningful international event experience.

  • Proven success managing complex in-person, hybrid, and virtual events across multiple countries—from initial planning through flawless execution.

  • Strong project management skills; highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple regions, timelines, and priorities simultaneously.

  • Experienced in international vendor management, contract negotiation, and navigating cross-border logistics and cultural nuances.

  • Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating with distributed global teams.

  • Exceptional communicator with a knack for crafting compelling, persuasive messaging and promotional content tailored to regional audiences.

  • Brings an eye for detail; thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and knows how to deliver results.

  • Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and representing the company externally in global settings.

  • Creative mindset that fuels innovative, engaging, culturally relevant event experiences.

  • Data-driven approach to setting goals, tracking KPIs, and scaling programs based on measurable international impact.

  • Willing and able to travel globally (including the UK, Ireland, Australia, Singapore, and additional emerging markets), with flexibility for long-haul travel, weekends, and holidays as needed.
