You will support field testing of a Rule-based MPC optimization for building energy management, coordinating hot water tanks and batteries with grid needs, analyzing improvement potential, and extending the optimizer in a MATLAB/Simulink simulation environment. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in electrical or mechanical engineering, MIBS or MEST, with strong MATLAB/Simulink skills, a reliable independent work style, and proficiency in German or English.
