Job Summary
Responsible for inventory accuracy and end-to-end logistics coordination to support smooth operations and production. Ensures timely material movement, system accuracy, and compliance with customs, financial, and HSE requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure accurate inventory control through physical verification, system reconciliation, cycle counts, and audits.
- Manage all inbound and outbound logistics activities, coordinating with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and authorities.
- Receive, issue, and transact materials and services accurately in ERP and approved web-based systems (e.g., JDE, TAP, OTM).
- Maintain, document, and safeguard customer-supplied property in compliance with NOV procedures.
- Record, reconcile, and report all shipment-related documentation and costs, including customs duties, freight charges, deposits, and VAT requirements.
- Coordinate shipment planning, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance, including HS codes, quotas, certificates of origin, and government portals.
- Support production by ensuring timely material availability and managing work order transactions, closures, and confirmations.
- Control hazardous materials and shelf-life items in accordance with NOV and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain warehouse and yard organization using visual management to support safety and operational efficiency.
- Provide regular inventory, logistics, and operational status updates to management, highlighting risks and variances.
- Support financial activities such as freight accruals, charge-backs, documentation, and customs deposit tracking.
- Arrange domestic transportation, inter-vendor movements, and environmentally compliant scrap and waste disposal.
- Ensure full compliance with NOV Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and all applicable local and global regulations.
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- Experience in warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations with strong knowledge of customs and trade compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP and web-based logistics systems with high attention to data accuracy and documentation.
- Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills across internal and external parties.
- Effective planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and operational issues.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher secondary education with 3 years experience
- Minimum Three years’ experience in similar role
- Experience in logistics/warehouse functions
- Knowledge of local and international customs regulations
- Negotiation skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Supply Chain Certifications
- Experience in oil and gas companies
