New World Gardens in Dunedin is seeking part-time Inwards Goods/Grocery Assistants to join the Inwards Goods Team, with the potential to pick up extra shifts in the Grocery Department. The role covers goods receipting and scanning, safe forklift operation, unloading trucks, moving stock to cages, managing records and safety compliance, liaising with managers and suppliers about discrepancies, preventing wastage through stock rotation, and keeping the storeroom tidy while ensuring a safe work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, loves a busy team setting or can work independently, available to start at 5.00am and on weekends, physically fit, organized, with a can-do attitude; forklift license preferred but training provided.
