Foodstuffs South Island is hiring an IT Service Desk Analyst to join 24/7 Digital Services team in Christchurch. This role acts as the first point of contact for IT incidents, logs tickets, monitors systems, and communicates status. Training is provided, and supermarket experience welcomed. You should be a calm, customer-focused problem solver with solid Windows knowledge and proficiency in Word, Excel and Teams, plus call centre or high-volume support experience, able to work independently and as part of a team. We are seeking a self-motivated , enthusiastic and adaptable person to join our IT Service Desk Team. The role is based in our Digital Services team and will involve shift work on a 24/7 rotational basis (37.5 hours a week).
You will be part of a team providing monitoring, phone and other IT support for problems and requests that occur on our wide range of information systems.
This is a customer focused IT position. You will be comfortable learning new software applications and business processes. Training will be provided where necessary. Experience in supermarket operations is an advantage. The dynamics of the role suit someone that is well organised and enjoys a busy team environment.
