Shift is seeking an IT Support specialist to manage incident and change processes, end user support, device management, and cloud services administration for our Sydney team. You’ll collaborate with Data, DevSecOps and Security to reach milestones, while onboarding and offboarding, routine maintenance, and compliance checks keep operations smooth. About the role:
As IT Support at Shift, you’ll be an essential part of our team, helping to keep our business and tech operations running smoothly. Reporting to our Cloud Systems Team Lead, you’ll bring your expertise in incident management, end user support, device management, and cloud services administration to strengthen Shift’s operations. You’ll tackle technology challenges with a positive attitude, a methodical approach, and a sense of urgency - all while working alongside a supportive team.
What you’ll do:
Dive into incident and change management processes - logging issues, tracking resolutions, and keeping everyone updated along the way
Provide friendly, comprehensive support to internal teams, ensuring workflows stay on track and users have a great experience
Manage user identities, permissions, and access in our cloud environments
Keep our local networks and office infrastructure running strong to meet the needs of our dynamic team
Carry out regular system maintenance, including patches, updates, and upgrades for our cloud-based tools and infrastructure
Make onboarding and offboarding a breeze, ensuring smooth transitions for our team members
Collaborate closely with our experts in Data, DevSecOps, and Security to reach project milestones and drive innovation
Help plan, execute, and support our infrastructure needs for daily operations, strategy weeks, and big on-site events
Make sure our cloud infrastructure always meets security best practices and compliance standards
What you’ll bring:
Hands on experience supporting a wide range of users, both technical and non-technical
Experience managing office tech infrastructure - think printers, networking, WiFi, and AV equipment
Expertise in managing mobile devices (Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS) using Microsoft Intune
Solid experience with Azure Entra is essential, and broader Azure familiarity is a bonus
Well-developed troubleshooting skills, especially with cloud SaaS tools and user devices
Excellent people skills for clear communication with everyone you work with
Confidence working independently and leading technical projects to the finish line
Skills across Azure, Office 365 Admin, Atlassian tools, PowerShell, Bash, Microsoft Intune MDM, and device deployment (Apple ADE / MS Autopilot)
