The opportunity

Your role covers providing proficient onsite IT services in Switzerland, where you tackle complex IT support challenges. Your responsibilities include managing WLSD tickets assigned to the local IT and liaising with users to understand their needs and resolve their issues efficiently. Onsite support typically involves a range of tasks to ensure technology and systems are functioning correctly within an organization.

Day-to-day responsibilities

Hardware Setup and Installation:

You are responsible for installing new workstation computers and printers, ensuring they are configured in accordance with Worldline policies and specific user requirements.

  1. Troubleshooting and Repair: Your responsibility is to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on workstations, tackling network connectivity problems, software errors, and peripheral malfunctions.
  2. Assistance in Network Configuration and Maintenance: IT specialist provides onsite support to the global office network team by assisting in the physical setup and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and other network devices. He is crucial during remote configurations and migration projects to ensure seamless connectivity.
  3. User Support and Training: You assist users with technical issues and provides training on new systems or software, ensuring they can effectively utilize Worldline’s corporate IT technology solutions.
  4. Inventory Management: local OSS maintains accurate records of Worldline’s corporate IT hardware, ensuring all inventory documentation is up-to-date and precise.

Who are we looking for

Your educational background is:

  • Preferable higher education (IT engineer, telecommunication and IT security specialist), otherwise you may have a relevant professional qualification.

 

You have previous experience in:

  • an IT support position (first or second line of support)
  • coordinating IT projects
