As a Junior Category Manager, you will help shape, bring to life, and execute our food & beverage retail strategy. You will analyse trends, develop product concepts, collaborate with brand partners and suppliers, create real new product concepts and drive the performance of our retail range to ensure great customer experiences with Boostbar. Using consumer and market insights, strong quantitative analysis, and a natural foodie instinct, you will support data-driven product decisions and work closely with cross-functional teams to turn ideas into reality. - Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and product performance across all Boostbar categories, from coffee and drinks to snacks and meals.
- Challenge the status quo by promoting existing concepts, identifying the next-best products in the market, running regular gap analyses, and identifying new ways to disrupt the industry.
- Manage supplier and partner relationships, negotiating terms, defining initiatives, and aligning product decisions with the overall Boostbar strategy.
- Execute initiatives internally by coordinating rollouts, including PIM setup, pricing, sales materials, activations, and more.
- High affinity for food, gastronomy and consumer products, combined with an understanding of quality, margins and customer expectations.
- Confident in representing Boostbar with partners and suppliers, negotiating commercial terms and driving product decisions aligned with overall strategy and P&L impact.
- Thrives in a fast-moving startup environment, combining strong numerical analysis with the hunger to challenge the status quo and build structure where processes are still evolving.
- Completed Bachelor’s degree (University, FH); a Hospitality degree, Master’s degree or 1+ years of professional work experience in consumer goods retail or gastronomy are considered a plus.
- Fluency in German & English is a must (C2); Swiss-German is a significant advantage; Italian or French is a plus.
