The Junior Consultant will work under the guidance of experienced intensivists, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in the intensive care unit (ICU).

As a Junior Consultant, you will assist in the management of critically ill patients, participate in decision-making processes, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assessment and management of patients in the intensive care unit (ICU).
  • Collaborate with senior consultants to create and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct routine monitoring of patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
  • Support in administering medications and performing necessary procedures as directed.
  • Engage with patients and their families to provide education and support throughout the treatment process.
  • Contribute to the documentation of patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Participate in training and continuing education opportunities to enhance medical knowledge and skills.

Requirements

  • Medical degree with completion of an internship in a relevant field.
  • Desire to specialize in Intensive Care Medicine with an initial foundation in clinical practice.
  • Strong interest in critical care and the ability to quickly adapt to high-stress situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
