Citycare Property is hiring a Junior Facilities Manager to support the NZ Police contract in Wellington. This full-time onsite role covers maintenance and minor project work across sites, site visits, contractor check-ins, reporting, and helping monitor safety, quality and performance while learning FM systems. Citycare Property is looking for a motivated Junior Facilities Manager to support the operational delivery of our long term contract with NZ Police.
What You’ll Bring to the Table | Ngā Mea ka Mauria e Ko:
• Some experience or study in facilities, project, construction or asset management
• Willingness to learn how to coordinate tasks from start to finish
• Good communication skills and confidence working with different people
• A practical approach and interest in problem solving
• Someone comfortable juggling different tasks and learning new systems
• A positive attitude, reliability and strong attention to detail
• Full class 1 driver licence
• Commitment to safe work practices
• An interest in asset management principles (training provided)
What You’ll Be Doing | Ngā Kawenga Takohanga
• Manage maintenance of minor project work across sites
• Conduct site visits, inspections, contractor check-ins and follow-ups
• Helping with reporting, updates and data entry to keep workflows moving
• Learning how to monitor performance, quality and safety requirements
• Supporting the team to keep deadlines, standards and processes on track
• Helping identify simple improvements to make things run smoothly
• Asking questions, learning new systems and building your FM capability
