To provide technical and professional support to the Investment Team through market research, advanced data analysis and customized report writing, for the identification, screening, and development of new investments opportunities to achieve the Investment objectives. Look after cash management process, monitor balances, recommend liquidity pockets for investments and payments needed by Portfolio Manager, suggest ideas to optimize cash/leverage usage.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  •  Conduct market research and analyze information from multiple sources to drive the identification, screening and development of new investment opportunities for the Company.
  • Support the Due Diligence processes for investments in new funds.
  • Support the investment team in monitoring financial performance and preparing ad-hoc reports for decision-making process.
  • Keep track of risk parameters, identifying any deviations and report them to the Line Manager.
  • Examine and assess economic and market trends, research reports, public filings and various other indicators and factors to determine the suitable application of investment strategy.
  • Research various sectors and sub-sectors within our target verticals to determine / identify potential investment opportunities.
  • Keep track of the short-term investment portfolios of the Company and advise the Line Manager to take appropriate action.
  • Carry out reconciliation of all transactions with the Accounts Department to ensure accuracy.
  • Regularly monitor the financial market rates and inform the Manager to take appropriate action.
  • Prepare regular updates for the Investment Committee on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Attend the periodic meetings of the Investment Committee, take down Minutes of the Meeting and circulate amongst the members.
  • Any other tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
  • Ability to use Portfolio Management System and be a proactive user (require basic coding skills).


Requirements

  • 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in portfolio management, research, banking, and structured family offices for top tier organizations.
