Job Description:

As a Junior Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef to ensure the highest food preparation, presentation, and quality standards. If you have a strong background in culinary arts and a desire to excel in a dynamic kitchen environment, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in recipe development and food preparation.

  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring the execution of dishes to the highest quality standards.

  • Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock control.

  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following food safety and hygiene standards

  • Contribute to the development of seasonal specials.

  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen.

  • Adapt to a fast-paced and high-pressure kitchen environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience at least as Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a fine dining or high-end restaurant.

  • A culinary degree or relevant culinary certification is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and culinary techniques.

  • Creativity and passion for food, with a focus on attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work in a team and support a positive kitchen culture.
