Please note: We are looking for someone located in the Gold Coast. Territory covers Southern Brisbane, Gold Coast as well as Toowoomba with some travel to Coffs Harbour and Lismore (as required).

Job Description

We’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Key Account Manager to help us scale Leafio – Montu’s fast-growing wholesale division.

This is a 6-month max-term contract, where you’ll step in as the go-to partner for a portfolio of pharmacies. You’ll support their growth with our category-leading medical cannabis range, strengthen long-term relationships, and ensure they receive an exceptional service experience.

In this hybrid role, you will drive growth by acquiring new business while nurturing existing pharmacy partnerships. Your primary focus will be to increase order volume in your territory (South Brisbane - Logan downwards), Gold Coast up to Toowoomba with occasional visits to Lismore and Coffs Harbour.

What you’ll be doing

  • Owning and growing a portfolio of 60+ pharmacies, with full accountability for account success and order volume
  • Building strong, trust-based relationships with partners – you’ll be their first call
  • Developing account plans, working to growth targets, and celebrating wins
  • Supporting pharmacy staff to consolidate ordering through Leafio
  • Nurturing new accounts from first order to maturity
  • Generating new leads and referrals through pharmacy relationships
  • Keeping an ear to the ground – you’ll share insights to help shape product and marketing strategy
  • Managing your pipeline and results with clear reporting and collaboration

As part of the Montu ecosystem, Leafio works directly with thousands of pharmacies all across the country, providing them with a comprehensive range of alternative healthcare brands and products. Aiming to provide product on-demand and on time, its east coast-based warehouses dispatch every day of the week to a network of more than 3,000 pharmacies around Australia.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a business development/key account management (face-to-face and phone-based)
  • Confident managing a large book of accounts with short sales cycles
  • You hit your numbers – but do it the right way: consultative, value-first, and trustworthy
  • You’re curious, strategic, and good with data
  • You care about your customers and act like a business partner, not just a rep
