Job Summary:
As Key account Manager, Instrumentation, you will be a core contributor in carrying our hard- and software solutions to the key accounts in the market. A strong customer solution oriented mindset with a neutral strive to deeply understand customer challenges and conclude innovative solution proposals out of that, will be your success model. You will be responsible for sales and managing/developing Key accounts in your region and also guide the sales partners in strategy execution, opening up new business for Teledyne FLIR in ANZ. Your success will be managing sales, developing and maintaining a pipeline of strategically relevant accounts, business opportunities and partnerships related to business.
You will work with Distributors, inside sales, regional marketing and potential local customers to determine their needs. You will also develop and disseminate information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee all phases of Sales, including business creation and order execution activities to ensure business and financial objectives are attained. Diligently enter and update the CRM system with pipeline and project updates Meeting & developing end customer for business creation of above mentioned products. Manage the development of new strategic business opportunities and expansion of existing business opportunities. Participating at Seminars, conferences, tradeshows and other events as required by Sales Management and Product Marketing. Assess potential business opportunities through activities such as market and economic analysis, monitoring competitive activity and identifying customer needs. Manage and guide the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of offers. Consult with executive management to develop and implement current, annual and long-term schedule, quality, business, and financial objectives for the unit(s) and participate in the development of Group/Company objectives. Act as the primary contact for sales and business development activities in selected agreed countries. May lead progress review sessions to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance and to disseminate information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives. Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices. Providing responses for product and technical requests. Demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the company products, function, features and benefits. Providing specifications and quotes to prospective clients. Develop retail network for FLIR for high volume products.
Requirements:
The person should be minimum, Graduate Engineer with a degree of BE/B.TECH in Electronics/Electrical, with distribution Sales experience of minimum 8-10 years in australia Electrical Power, Industrial and Retail sector. Master’s in Business Administration shall be preferred. Ability to understand and implement strategy to meet Quarterly and yearly targets including forecasting. Applicant preferably should be based at Melbourne, Sydney or Perth. He should have complete knowledge of ANZ Industry & Utility market. Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to teach and explain FLIR product capabilities to the field user are of utmost importance to include working specific operational issues. Must have Effective channel management skills. Must demonstrate a detailed and extensive expertise and application of sales and business development principles and concepts, and practice as well as comprehensive project management and leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines or milestones. Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills are required to enable an effective interface with other departments, all levels of management, professional and support staff, customers and potential customers. Customer focused, must be able to work on a self-initiated basis and in a team environment, and able to work extended hours and travel as required. Travel- minimum 50% of time.
