Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our Customer Solutions team, working with customers across New Zealand’s dairy and food sectors.

Stepping into an established portfolio following an internal promotion, this is a strategic, relationship-focused role where you’ll drive growth through solution selling, build trusted partnerships, and identify new opportunities to deliver value through AsureQuality’s services and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow strategic customer relationships across the dairy and food sectors
  • Drive revenue growth and achieve sales and profitability targets
  • Lead customer planning, contract negotiations, renewals, and tender processes
  • Identify and develop new customer partnerships and emerging opportunities
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
  • Maintain strong market awareness across industry trends and regulatory developments

This is a full-time permanent position based in either Auckland (Mt Wellington) or Christchurch, with regular domestic travel required.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a commercially savvy relationship builder with a hunter mindset who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in account management, technical sales, or customer relationship management within a B2B environment
  • Strong industry knowledge within the dairy, food, ingredients, agribusiness, testing, or certification sectors
  • A technical or science-based qualification
  • Proven success building, growing, and managing customer portfolios
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused approach
