Oerlikon is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager to drive value creation and revenue for our Aero/PG offerings in the Mid-West US, onsite in Westbury, NY with up to 70 percent travel. You will own B2B sales from lead generation to closure, promote coating solutions including Thermal Spray, Laser Clad, Welding and Thin Film, and coordinate with sales, accounting and technical services to build strong account plans and relationships with first-tier and global accounts like GE Engines Services and Rolls-Royce. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in technical sales, a bachelor’s in business or a technical field, an established network of decision makers in the thermal spray and thin film supply chain, and strong MS CRM forecasting skills with an independent, self motivated work style. Oerlikon is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position, which is $100,000 to $125,000 per year (which will be prorated according to part-time employment). Some positions within Oerlikon may also offer eligibility to participate in a discretionary incentive program. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for the role will be based on a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, internal equity, job location, work experience, education, training, certifications, licenses, etc. Therefore, as compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each individual, it is likely that not all applicants will be hired at the highest end of the listed compensation range. Our total compensation package goes beyond base compensation and it will include a competitive benefits package starting with 2 weeks paid time off accrued on a monthly basis, 12 holidays, 48 hours personal/sick time (exception for NY where we follow State law,) medical, dental, vision, 401K, holidays, pet insurance and tuition reimbursement all effective day one of hire.
