KidStrong is looking for a full-time Edmonton Area Manager to oversee multiple KidStrong facilities in the Edmonton area, including serving the Sherwood Park area, acting as General Manager at one site and leading a team of GMs and staff to deliver a science-based brain, physical and character development program. You will develop leadership, implement strategies to boost program quality and customer satisfaction, manage budgets and sales targets, and cultivate community partnerships. The role requires proven management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, data-driven decision making from KPI analysis, and willingness to travel between locations; certifications in coaching, fitness, or child education are a plus. The Area Manager is the leader of leaders. You will be instrumental in developing our leadership teams and guiding our success!
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of KidStrong facilities in the Edmonton area.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance program delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor a team of General Managers and staff to ensure high-quality experiences.
- Manage budgets, sales targets, and financial performance of each location.
- Build strong relationships with parents and community partners to promote KidStrong.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Organize and participate in community events to increase brand visibility.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all locations.
- Proven experience in management roles, preferably in the fitness or child development industry.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with a passion for child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with families and staff.
- Ability to analyze data (KPI's) and make informed decisions to drive success.
- Relevant certifications in coaching, fitness, or child education are a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between locations.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to creating a fun, engaging atmosphere for kids.
The Area Manager will be scheduled from Tuesday to Saturdays with a minimum of two evenings per week. This work will regularly require in excess of 40 hours per week.
