Mō te tūranga | About the opportunity

We're looking for friendly and flexible assistant to join our fantastic Kitchen team working  Friday to monday 3.00pm to 6.00pm

Our Kitchen Assistants are responsible for delivering efficient food service to our residents and providing a high level of customer service.

You will support the Foodservice Manager through kitchen and meal preparation including assembling and preparing ingredients, baking, cooking, toasting, and heating food items. You will also be responsible for keeping the kitchen and scullery areas clean, tidy, and safe.

Qualifications

  • Experience working within a commercial kitchen or similar environment
  • Highly motivated, able to take initiative, and flexible.
  • Great hygiene standards and commitment to health and safety
  • Ability to work closely with, and support, your colleagues
