SGS is seeking a detail oriented Laboratory Technician specializing in Energy Minerals to join our Delta Canada team in a full time onsite capacity. You will perform sample preparation, analysis and characterization of energy mineral materials, collect and analyze data, maintain and calibrate equipment, enforce safety protocols, run quality control checks, and prepare clear reports for scientists and stakeholders while collaborating with geologists and engineers. The ideal candidate has an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Geology, Environmental Science or a related field, at least two years of lab experience, proficiency with lab instruments and LIMS, and a strong foundation in energy mineral testing and reporting. OSHA certification is preferred.
