Job Description

As a Labourer, you’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations and general maintenance of our site. You’ll work alongside the wider team to help keep the site running safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while meeting daily and contractual requirements.

  • Undertake a range of labouring duties, including loading, unloading, collecting and sorting waste.
  • Maintain a high standard of general housekeeping across the site, as directed and required.
  • Complete all records, reporting and paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and operate plant and equipment in accordance with company procedures, while providing assistance and support to other team members as required.
  • Carry out daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment, including assisting with cleaning and general upkeep.
  • Maintain a professional image of the company and consistently deliver a high standard of service.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the waste industry is desirable.
  • A full Class 1 driver's licence with Wheels, Tracks and Rollers (WTR) endorsement is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a supportive and reliable team member.
  • Ability to multitask and work across a variety of areas as required.
  • Physically fit and able to undertake a range of labouring duties.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
