We are seeking a motivated and efficient Land Administrator to support forest management and commercial access operations in the State forests of western NSW. This role is central to achieving strategic land management outcomes which are compliant with FCNSW’s social, environmental and regulatory responsibilities.

About the role:
As Land Administrator, you will take responsibility for the efficient management and administration of land use agreements, commercial access arrangements and forest permits, including apiary, grazing and recreational permits. The role also involves tracking gravel sales, reviewing planning developments, and preparing forest operations plans for pest animal and weed control.
What you’ll bring to the role:
You will bring strong administrative skills to the team, along with the ability to complete projects and tasks efficiently and accurately to meet standards and deadlines. You have excellent communication and relationship building skills and bring attention to detail and problem-solving skills to the role. Ideally you are interested in sustainable forest and rural land management and have an understanding of planning and environmental legislation.
Useful demonstrated work experiences include:
• Technological skills, including Microsoft Office products, iPad/iPhone apps and mapping software.
• Strong capability in customer service and stakeholder engagement, including negotiating beneficial outcomes and resolving conflicts with diverse community, industry and government groups.
• Proven ability to administer and monitor permit systems, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
• Ability to work independently, and manage your own workload and priorities, within a geographically diverse business.
• C Class driver licence.
