Job Description:
Land Surveyor
Abu Dhabi , UAE
Parsons is seeking an amazingly talented Land Surveyor to join our Construction Supervision team. In this role, you will perform field surveys, setting-out, verification, and as-built support for major infrastructure works including stormwater networks, pump stations, and utilities, ensuring construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and required tolerances.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Perform land and field surveys, geodetic calculations, and verify survey requirements with contractors and the site team.
Carry out setting-out activities and level checks for ongoing construction works.
Verify service locations and ensure the protection of existing utilities during construction activities.
Maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and accurate survey records including field books, sketches, and calculations.
Measure completed works when required and support progress and quantity verification activities.
Assist in the preparation of as-built survey information and drawings.
Operate survey equipment and software including GPS, Total Station, data collectors, and CAD/survey tools.
Follow project HSE procedures and actively participate in site safety requirements and initiatives.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Diploma or Engineering qualification in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant land surveying experience on infrastructure projects.
Strong practical experience using GPS, Total Station, data collectors, and CAD/survey software.
Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
Strong commitment to safe work practices and HSE compliance.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
