Middlesex University Dubai invites Language Facilitators for the MDX Language and Culture Exchange Programme (German) to join an onsite internship in Dubai. Facilitators work in pairs per language, deliver six virtual sessions per term with in-person options, and may help prepare on-campus and external activities. The role blends relaxed, engaging instruction with content development, training in simple online delivery tools provided by the London campus, and mentorship from Suzannah Fernandes at MDX Dubai. Flexible evening hours accommodate participants in the UK and Mauritius. Applicants should demonstrate exceptional German language skills (reading, writing, speaking) and a track record of updating interactive content. - The Language and Cultural Exchange (LCExchange) programme is based on the concept of connecting students who speak different languages across Middlesex campuses so that they can learn from one another.
- Training in simple applications for online content and delivery will be provided by London campus and selected candidates will be mentored by Suzannah Fernandes, Asst Manager-Centre for Academic Success, Middlesex University Dubai.
- The courses are structured in a relaxed and fun atmosphere which allows the selected candidates to gain key employability skills and experience.
- 2 facilitators per language viz. Arabic, Hindi, American Sign Language, German or any others
- 6 sessions virtually per term to be delivered virtually; in-person sessions if required and preparation and delivery of on-campus/external activities
- Flexible hours; Classes in the evenings to accommodate participants from UK and Mauritius too
