OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE ROLE:

Balanced Scorecard Results: Implements strategies and executes activities to drive and continuously improve financial results, guest satisfaction, and human capital index and market share.

Essential Functions

1. Ensuring his/her uniform and name tag are worn as per hotel standard.
2. Proper sorting and tagging of guest clothes
3. Using equipment – Flat presser, washing machine, dryers and dry clean machine
4. Wash and dry guest clothes
5. Pressing of guest clothes
6. Folding of guest clothes
7. Using correct chemicals
8. Delivering of guest clothes to guest rooms
9. Attending daily briefings and departmental meetings
10. Maintaining the cleanliness of work area
11. Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry cleaning machines and place in clean linen carts.
12. Set dryers to designate times and temperatures based on fabrics contained in load.
13. Remove articles from dryer when cycle is complete.
14. Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load.
15. Fold cleaned articles into designated size, either by hand or using folding machine.
16. Operate washing and dry cleaning machinery in accordance with company standards.
17. To be aware of Health and safety regulations
18. Any other relevant task
