Millennium Hotels and Resorts is seeking a full-time on-site Lawyer in Dubai to join the legal team and provide expert counsel across contracts, compliance, regulatory matters and risk mitigation. Key Job Responsibilities:
Provide legal counsel to internal stakeholders, including executive management, on compliance, risk mitigation, and regulatory matters.
Support the General Counsel in executing the company’s legal strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry regulations.
Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including vendor agreements, partnership agreements, licensing, and service contracts.
Develop and maintain contract templates to streamline legal documentation and enhance consistency.
Oversee contract lifecycle management, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, and compliance with agreed terms.
Identify potential legal risks within the organization and propose effective mitigation strategies.
Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs and internal policies to manage legal and regulatory risks.
Conduct periodic legal audits and assessments to ensure regulatory compliance and highlight areas for improvement.
Manage pre-litigation and litigation matters, coordinating with external counsel and representing the company when required.
Support dispute resolution efforts, including mediation and arbitration, to protect the company’s interests while minimizing costs.
Develop efficient processes for handling disputes, claims, and legal investigations.
Assist with corporate governance matters, including compliance with governance policies, corporate structure updates, and shareholder communications.
Draft and maintain corporate documents such as resolutions, board minutes, and regulatory filings, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, HR, and operations, to provide legal guidance on interdepartmental projects.
