Nutrien is hiring a Lead Analyst, OTC Cash Application in Saskatoon for a full-time on-site role reporting to the Sr. Supervisor. You will oversee daily cash application, ensure payments from ACH, EFT, wires and lockbox are applied accurately, resolve unapplied cash and discrepancies, and support month-end close while driving improvements and controls in a shared services setting. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in accounting or cash application, a bachelor’s degree, ERP experience (SAP or Oracle), advanced Excel, and strong analytical and communication skills; preferred experience with automation and GAAP knowledge. Reporting to the Sr. Supervisor, Cash Application, the Lead Analyst, OTC Cash Application is responsible for supporting and overseeing daily cash application activities to ensure customer payments are applied accurately and timely. This role serves as a subject matter expert for cash application processes and provides day-to-day guidance to team members while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the OTC organization.
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of Accounts Receivable, cash application processes, customer payment tendering methods, account reconciliations, and the relationship between the AR subledger and General Ledger. The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills in a shared services environment.
