Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Lead Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental team in Whitby Dental & Implant Clinic, Ellesmere Port.

The essentials:

  • Part time over 4 days
  • Tuesdays 8.30am - 6:15pm, Wednesdays 8am- 6.15pm, Thursdays 8am - 5.30 & Fridays 8am - 5pm
  • Competitive rate from £15 per hour
  • Work with a team of 4 Dental Nurses
  • Fully private 3 surgery practice with opportunity to work with endo, implants, ortho and denplan
  • Opportunity or upskilling

You'll guide and mentor our nursing team while maintaining the highest standards of patient care in a safe, compliant, and supportive environment.   • Deliver exceptional patient care
  • Oversee sterilization procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and best practices
  • Manage patient communication 
  • Support team members through training, guidance, and constructive feedback, helping them develop their skills and advance their careers
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage clinical resources effectively
  • Maintain detailed clinical records and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Serve as a point of contact for patient inquiries and concerns, resolving issues with professionalism and care

About you

  • A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration 
  • Previous experience in a similar lead or senior dental nurse role
