Worley is seeking a Lead Engineer for Construction Piping and Pipeline in Abu Dhabi, a full time on site role that centers on providing construction support across the full project lifecycle and leading constructability reviews. You will coordinate with the client to ensure work methods, fabrication, and installation meet specifications, develop and manage workpacks, and act as the key interface for fabrication and construction queries. The ideal candidate brings strong safety leadership, superb interpersonal and influencing skills, and the ability to work to tight deadlines within a multidisciplinary team. Job Scope
The Lead Construction Engineer responsibility for providing construction support, ensuring that all project work is carried out according to client’s fabrication and installation specifications. Coordinate with client to ensure proposed construction and work methods are clearly understood and fit for purpose. Support to the Project Engineers in understanding the construction process throughout all phases of the life-cycle of the project.
Ensure work is performed per plans and specifications via coordination with client to expedite review comments on documents/drawings. Review of design packages early in the course of project to eliminate rework and optimise construction.
Chair constructability reviews and be the interface with client for all fabrication and construction related queries.
