The Role
You will be providing engineering support for planning, preparation and reviewing drilling & completion and abandonment operations. Assuring that all the operations are safely planned and executed, all well operations are prepared and executed within the defined and authorised program and budget to meet the Company's objective. Supervise the execution of well operations, assuring that operations conform to plans and are being carried out safely, efficiently, managing offshore manpower, rig, material supplies and stock, resolving difficulties which could otherwise delay well operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise offshore operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with company standards
- Ensure all well operations are safely executed in line with approved programs, budgets, and company objectives
- Manage rig activities, offshore personnel, materials, and logistics to prevent operational delays
- Provide engineering support for planning, preparation, and review of drilling, completion, and abandonment operations
- Act as the key interface between offshore operations and onshore teams to ensure alignment with company objectives
- Ensure contractor and service company performance meets contractual and operational expectations
- Maintain compliance with the Company Safety Management System and HSEQ standards
- Ensure timely availability of personnel, equipment, and materials offshore
- Support internal and corporate audits where required

- Identify and implement operational improvement opportunities in coordination with relevant teams
- Track daily operational costs and maintain cost awareness
- Monitor material usage and stock levels; ensure timely requisition to avoid downtime
- Participate in risk assessments (HAZOP/HAZID) and ensure all actions are closed prior to execution
- Represent the company at the rig site for all operational and technical matters
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture offshore
- Comply with the company Code of Ethics and HSE critical role requirements
- Engineering or Science Degree or Equivalent
- Previous experience in similar role
- Good knowledge and understanding of Oil Industry and Upstream Activities
- Good management skill
- Good understanding of operations and process facilities.
