Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Quality professional to lead the daily operations of our inspection function. You will ensure that all incoming materials and finished goods meet the highest standards of compliance and accuracy. In this role, you will manage and support a team of inspectors, ensuring consistent inspection practices while maintaining clear and accurate documentation across all stages of the process.

Your new role:

  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate the daily activities of the Quality Engineering team.
  • Provide coaching on root-cause analysis, 8D investigations, corrective actions, and quality tools.
  • Set priorities and ensure workload is balanced across the QE team.
  • Oversee Quality Engineering support for manufacturing, including MRB activities.
  • Ensure rapid response to internal quality issues and provide guidance on containment, root cause, and corrective action.
  • Review and approve quality documentation, work instructions, and inspection standards.
  • Lead the team responsible for managing customer complaints, ensuring professional, timely, and data-driven responses.
  • Ensure 8D investigations are completed to a high standard and corrective actions are effective and verified.
  • Communicate findings and resolutions with stakeholders and customers.
  • Lead initiatives to drive process capability, reduce scrap and rework, and improve product quality.
  • Champion a culture of Zero Defect and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to ensure coordinated quality responses.
  • Support supplier quality as needed.  
   

 

Your ideal background:

  • Experience in Quality Engineering within manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in structured problem-solving.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and use measurement equipment. 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • High accuracy and ability to work under pressure. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office and quality systems.
  • A knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100
  • Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering.
  • Experience with CAPA systems, PFMEA, control plans, and SPC.
  • Experience in regulated industries is advantageous. 
 
  • Comfortable working in a small team of nine where efficiency and a fast‑paced environment are essential
