You will coordinate with the MEP team, subcontractors and third party testing agencies, maintain records, and support reporting to the Construction Quality Control Manager. Ideal candidates have five plus years in transit infrastructure QA, Ontario experience preferred, a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Architecture or CET designation, and knowledge of OPSS, CSA, ACI, TTC/Metrolinx specs; proficiency with SharePoint or Procore is a plus. Ferrovial Construction Canada Inc. and VINCI Construction Grands Projets are undertaking the design, build, and finance of the Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations, and Tunnel (South Civil) package.
As Ontario Transit Group, we are now mobilizing our design and construction crews, with major works. The South Civil contract is anticipated to be completed in 2030.
The project will strengthen Ontario’s economy by supporting an estimated 1,500 jobs at the peak of construction.
What is the project?
The Senior Quality Inspector (MEP) is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality control and assurance across all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works within the project. This role involves verifying compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality management plans, while coordinating inspections, documentation, and corrective actions. The Senior Quality Inspector will work closely with the MEP team, subcontractors, and third-party testing agencies to maintain strict adherence to project requirements and regulatory standards.
The salary range for this position is $100,000 CAD- $135,000 CAD, plus additional benefits.
