Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all static equipment engineering activities during FEED, EPC, and detailed engineering phases of the project. 
  • Provide technical leadership for the design, specification, and procurement of static equipment, including pressure vessels, columns, heat exchangers, tanks, separators, filters, reactors, and package equipment. 
  • Develop and review equipment datasheets, specifications, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and vendor documentation. 
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and applicable international codes and standards such as ASME, API, TEMA, and ASTM. 
  • Coordinate with Process, Piping, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Procurement disciplines to ensure effective integration of static equipment requirements. 
  • Review and approve vendor drawings, calculations, manufacturing procedures, and inspection requirements. 
  • Support constructability reviews, value engineering studies, and cost optimization initiatives throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, constructability workshops, and technical meetings with clients, vendors, and contractors. 
  • Monitor engineering progress and ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with project schedules, quality standards, and HSE requirements. 
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and supervision to a team of Specialists, Senior Engineers, and Engineers. 
  • Interface effectively with clients, licensors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support successful project execution. 

Minimum Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent from an accredited university, with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including a minimum of five (5) years (preferred) in the GCC region.
  • Must have at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position on major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, managing a team of Specialists, Senior Engineers, and Engineers.
  • ADNOC & Offshore project experience is preferred.
  • PMC experiences are preferrable. 
  • Experience in FEED & EPC Phases is required.
  • Strong knowledge of international standards and codes including ASME Section VIII, API 650, API 620, API 661, API 660, TEMA, and NACE requirements. 
  • Experience in technical bid evaluations, vendor management, and fabrication oversight for static equipment. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and multicultural project environments.
