Ryde Community Sports Centre is a welcoming, inclusive community facility operated by YMCA NSW in partnership with the City of Ryde Council. About the Role

As a Learn to Play Instructor, you will design and deliver engaging, high-quality programs that help children build foundational skills in a fun, safe and supportive environment. You'll create memorable experiences, promote positive behaviour, and contribute to a welcoming community space.

  • Deliver well-planned, engaging Learn to Play classes tailored to children's developmental needs
  • Prepare equipment and the learning environment before sessions
  • Promote YMCA values and ensure a safe, positive and inclusive environment
  • Build friendly, cooperative relationships with children, families and community groups
  • Support the centre's programs through teamwork, communication and professionalism
  • Uphold all safeguarding, safety, and risk management requirements

  • Children feel comfortable, supported and excited to participate
  • Lessons run smoothly and safely, with equipment properly managed
  • Customer enquiries and concerns are handled promptly and professionally
