About the Role 

As Learning & Development Manager, Sydney Airport you are accountable for workforce readiness across Certis’ Sydney Airport portfolio through translating legislation, airport requirements and operational realities into high-quality training, accreditation and coaching—ensuring every employee is compliant, capable and audit-ready each shift.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead training governance aligned to CISC, Aviation Screening Notice 2025, ATS Act and RTO standards 
• Manage learning Management System (Moodle) as single source of truth – ensuring audit traceability and compliance 
• Enforce pre-roster competency gate – no deployment without current accreditation 
• Lead induction, recurrent training and CPD programs 
• Execute internal and external audits (CISC, ASQA, Sydney Airport) 
• Drive data-led improvement using LMS and operational insights 
• Lead training, coaching and scheduling teams 

About You 

• Must have Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent
• Experience leading training and accreditation in regulated environments 
• Strong audit, compliance and RTO framework capability 
• Expertise in assessment integrity and document control 
• Strong stakeholder engagement with regulators and operations
