Zespri is seeking a 16 month fixed term Licence Specialist in Mount Maunganui, onsite, full time, to manage the lifecycle of Zespri Licences in NZ, ensuring Plant Variety Right compliance and supporting Year-Round Global Supply Excellence. Duties include issuing, transferring and auditing licences; building relationships with growers, legal advisers and post-harvest operators; resolving issues at first contact; managing GPS audits and non compliance; coordinating with Finance on invoicing and reconciliations; and assisting with pre-validation and license allocations. The ideal candidate has legal administration or contract management experience, strong documentation, negotiation and analytical skills, dispute resolution ability, excellent communication and advanced software proficiency (Word, Excel, SAP, CRM, SharePoint). This 16 month-fixed term Licence Specialist role is an integral part of the Licence team responsible for various processes supporting the management, reporting, administration, issuing and auditing of Zespri Proprietary Licences in New Zealand. The success of the licensed varieties relies on strict Plant Variety Right (PVR) management that is monitored and enforced by the Licence team and their ability to understand and contribute to the strategic priority of Year-Round Global Supply Excellence.
