Transport for NSW seeks a Linemarker in Tamworth for a full-time role. In a 9-Day Fortnight you’ll operate and assist with linemarking machines, help with setup and de-canting, perform mobile traffic control duties, and support safety and quality processes, with training provided. Expect to spend up to 80% of the year away from home. You’ll need a Driver Licence and White Card, willingness to labour and work as part of a team, and WHS Traffic Control tickets; MR Truck and Forklift licences are advantageous but not essential. Whether it’s a routine delineation maintenance project or a special line mark program, you will be required to carry out all activities associated with the safe operation of Linemarking machines and complete associated traffic control support, labouring and driving tasks.
We are seeking those that reside within a 100-kilometre distance from the Tamworth Depot and are prepared to work away from home on a regular basis.

About you:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated team-oriented individual who has a strong drive to increase their skill set with on-the-job training, and external training provided.
You will be willing to work outside regular working hours, attend callouts (where needed) and be prepared to travel extensively throughout the state, including away from your home location on a regular basis.
You’ll need to have:
Our works are undertaken in close proximity to traffic, so you will have very high regard for the safety of yourself, your team, and members of the public at all times.
Holding a current Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Licence, Forklift licence and relevant traffic control tickets will be highly regarded, but not essential.
