TransPerfect is seeking a Litigation Support Analyst for its Melbourne eDiscovery team, onsite, to coordinate culling, processing, hosting and ESI for law firms. No law background is required; the role rewards an analytical mindset, strong communication and organization, and keen interest in data and technology. You’ll work with Relativity and LAW, support PM teams, troubleshoot issues, and ensure on time delivery across day and evening shifts. Requirements: bachelor’s degree in a related field, solid MS Office skills, and the ability to translate technical concepts for non specialists. Preferred: SQL or Visual Basic, Relativity administration, LAW PreDiscovery/IPRO. Tips: tailor your resume to highlight eDiscovery projects, cross shift collaboration and client facing success, and show growth mindset and teamwork at TransPerfect.
TransPerfect is looking for a Litigation Support Analyst to join our legal technology team to help manage and coordinate the completion of eDiscovery projects. eDiscovery is a relatively new industry in the legal space, but one that’s growing as fast as the data-driven world we live in. But don't worry! We don't require you to have a law background. What we are looking for is someone with an analytical mindset, who has great communication and time management skills, as well as an interest in data and technology.
A bit more about eDiscovery and our team - Corporate litigation & investigations often involve tens of millions of documents and emails. TransPerfect’s eDiscovery team feeds these enormous volumes of data through a series of sophisticated software which culls them down into a manageable size for legal teams to review. The job really is getting in sync with all the specific and messy ways humans communicate online and then leveraging technology to uncover the needles in the haystack that support or defend a legal claim. The work is both really varied and interesting. One day you might be working on a Ukrainian Bribery matter and pharma patent claim; the next day an airline bankruptcy; the following a celebrity defamation lawsuit against a newspaper. The job requires considerable mental prowess and, in the interest of full disclosure, sometimes involves hours that mirror a lawyer's. But if you are a problem-solver oriented individual – this industry is a fantastic place to be.
