Your Role

As Logistics Plan Coordinator, you’ll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential. 
Your scope includes:

  • Communication & Coordination: Collaborate with internal and corporate departments, external vendors, and local 3PL contractors; handle communications with carriers.
  • Daily Operations & Issue Resolution: Implement and audit loading/unloading plans, yard trailer inventory (inbound and outbound), resolve and update issues via SharePoint ticketing, Yardview and SAP, and manage data errors.
  • Validate the weekly plan (local and across the network), shipping issues, customer requests and resolve all issues daily to ensure we exceed customer expectations.
  • Inventory Management: Utilize inventory reports, production schedules, and FIFO/aged inventory controls, and validate all  weekly/monthly shipping plans.
  • Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Manage, validate and prepare the ongoing plan, ensure accurate data and update daily to missed/lost opportunities. 
  • Data Monitoring & Reporting: Create KPI and monitoring reports, validate shipments, address system errors, and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date. 

 

What you bring

You're a natural fit for Logistics Plan Coordinator if you have:

  • Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.  Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 2+ years of logistics scheduling planning and customer service required. 
  • Understanding of BOLs, manifests, COAs/SDS for materials.
  • Team collaborator with production, corporate Logistics and warehouse.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to manage logistics issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including MS365, PowerBI and SAP is highly desirable.
