Australia Post is seeking a Mail Officer/Forklift Driver for a fixed term full time role at Perth Airport, 1pm to 8:51pm, for six months. You’ll manually sort mail for delivery, handle letters and parcels, load and unload mail from bags and cages, and operate processing equipment and forklifts to support our posties. Key requirements include a current forklift licence, the ability to lift up to 16 kg regularly, good memory and attention to detail, and flexibility to work extra hours. About the opportunity
As our Mail Officer/Forklift Driver, you’ll be working at a Mail & Parcel Processing Centre where you’ll be responsible for manually sorting mail in preparation for delivery the next day. You’ll play a key role in supporting our Posties, who provide a vital service to our local community every single day.
You’ll be working together with a friendly team of like-minded people, and your community relies on you, and it doesn’t get better than that!
