We are looking to recruit two bright, enthusiastic individuals to join the maintenance team as Electrical Engineering Apprentices based at the Carlisle site. The successful candidates will spend their first year on a full time basic technical course. The remainder of the 4 year modern apprenticeship will combine a structured in-house training programme incorporating day release studies. This will lead to a Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance. The apprenticeship will commence in September 2026 and the successful candidate will be expected to attain or already possess 5 GCSE grades 4 - 9 including Mathematics and a Science at grades 4 - 9. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate evidence of practical skills and ability. Applicants must not be in receipt of government funding for current learning (this includes any other Department for Education funded further/higher education programme including programmes funded by a student loan).
