We are seeking a full‑time Maintenance Assistant in Tauranga, onsite, Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, to maintain buildings and facilities, perform scheduled checks, resolve maintenance issues, and work with others to keep the community at a high standard for residents. Ideal candidates have a maintenance or trades background, strong DIY skills, energy and physical fitness, and comfort with technical systems and basic computer software. Job Description

Mō te tūranga | About the role

We are looking for an exceptional handy-person to maintain our community's buildings and facilities, and contribute to the quality of our resident's lives through responsive and supportive assistance. The role is Monday to Friday 0830 - 5.00pm

This role is packed full of variety, where no two days will be the same. The successful applicant will have a maintenance/trade background and be responsible for:

  • carrying out scheduled routine checks under the direction of the Property Manager
  • resolving planned and unplanned maintenance issues
  • collaborating with others within the community to ensure the premise is maintained to a high standard at all times
