Job Description:

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

As an experienced Utilities Engineer, you will take on challenging tasks in your specialist area and cross-trade project coordination based on GMP and safety regulations. They support the planners for the new construction projects AME, GoRe and Nexus for the field of utilities and HVAC systems. In addition, they support the project planning, implementation and commissioning of the utilities systems. You work in an experienced and motivated team in planning, execution and maintenance with the following objectives:

  • Optimization of infrastructure for manufacturing processes in parenteral production within the framework of continuous improvements
  • Support in the implementation of investment projects within the scope of plant optimization and process adjustments, their GMP-compliant as well as cost and on time implementation
  • Ensure engineering solutions align with J&J standards, industry codes, and regulatory
  • expectations
  • Investigation of equipment malfunctions, Development of technical solution proposals, as well as their successful implementation
  • Improve maintenance strategies for individual equipment and machines
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure EHS compliance on site.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualification

  • You have completed education as a building technology engineer in utilities and or HVAC, with further training as a TS technician, bachelor or master
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the planning and execution of projects, ideally in the field of sterile pharmaceutical forms
  • Experience in project work
  • Reliable German and good English language skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Good computer proficiency e.g. MS Office, SAP
  • Excellent analytical skill to identify gaps and root causes of issues, and think out of the box to develop a solution
