Arvato seeks a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead proactive maintenance at our Shepherdsville facility near Louisville, KY. You will supervise projects and maintenance staff, manage vendors, and drive equipment reliability while maintaining PM records and supporting capital projects. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in facilities leadership, a BS in Engineering or equivalent, and experience troubleshooting conveyors, robotics, and automation systems including WCS and PLCs. The role requires standing in a non climate controlled environment, long hours with overtime, and up to 10% travel. Schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 5:30 pm with weekend or night coverage for outages. Benefits include 401(k) match and tuition reimbursement.

Arvato is seeking a hands-on and self-motivated Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead the proactive and preventative facility maintenance across our facility in Shepherdsville, Kentucky.  In this role, you will be able to leverage your knowledge and experience in facilities management and work cross-functionally to maximize equipment and facility resources while meeting safety and budget requirements.  

YOUR TASKS

• Supervise, guide, and assign projects to supervisors, project engineers, and engineering technicians relating to the engineering, development, maintenance, and special projects of all machinery and equipment
• Be responsible for overseeing all vendors on property, negotiating with vendors to reduce overhead costs, and any facility-related repairs and general upkeep
• Delegate work projects for the improvement of the efficiency and reliability of equipment used in operations
• Maintain equipment PM records and lead in reducing the downtime of equipment
• Assist and/or lead in research and development of new products, processes, or CAPEX projects
• Develop and modify equipment to meet the department’s production, quality, or layout requirements
• Vendors include, but not limited to, housekeeping, recycling, trash, and miscellaneous day-to-day requirements
• Assist in new building selection and fit out to meet Arvato specifications
•  Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex conveyor, robotics, and automation systems
• Ability to support and troubleshoot WCS and PLC's

YOUR PROFILE

• At least 5 years in a Facilities Manager role or similar experience
• Must possess a BS degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Previous experience supervising others
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Must be able to work long hours, including overtime if needed
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
• Work shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00 am - 5:30 pm; weekends and nights are required if there are issues/outages
