RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and manage detailed maintenance schedules and work orders.
  • Coordinate and schedule all maintenance activities while ensuring parts coordination and availability.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, equipment condition, and maintenance costs.
  • Plan for and schedule PM’s, outages while navigating operations and engineering directives.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and operations teams to plan and implement equipment modifications and upgrades.    
  • Plan, recommend and coordinate corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Support teams in problem solving.
  • Support the scheduler in establishing the optimal sequence for production.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & STRENGTHS

  • Proven experience as a maintenance planner or similar role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing (an asset)
  • Leadership and a collaborative spirit that inspires and engages teams to achieve excellence
  • Ability to solve problems and prioritize daily tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize, react and make decisions while multi-tasking
  • Strong listening skills to quickly understand needs and issues
  • Agility needed to work with various technology tools
  • Knowledge of SAP software is highly desirable

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or technical diploma. 
  • Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Teams, PowerBI
